How to Use Retailer URLs
Retailer URLs are perfect for sharing your audiobook across:
- Social media posts
- Email newsletters
- Your author website
- Promotional campaigns
💡 Tip: Some authors create a “Where to Listen” page that lists all their audiobook retailer links in one place.
Why Some Links May Be Missing
Not every retailer supports direct links. Each of our distribution partners has a unique system for managing titles, and some do not have URLs we can automatically capture.
Retailers that we provide URLs for automatically:
Retailers that we update URLs for manually:
- Amazon/Audible
- Kobo
- BookBeat
- Overdrive
- Apple
- Nook / Barnes & Noble
- Audiobooks.com
- UBook
- Chirp
- The Audiobook Store
📌 Important: The absence of a link does not mean your audiobook isn’t live. It may simply not be supported or may take additional time to appear.
What You Can Do if a Link Is Missing
- You can manually search the retailer’s site for your audiobook and copy the link. Take a look at our full list of partners here.
- Keep this link handy for your own marketing.
- Focus first on the major platforms where your audience listens.
Best Practices
- Check back periodically, as some links may appear with a delay.
- Share a mix of links so your audience can choose their preferred platform.
- Keep your URLs organized—some authors create a Google Doc, spreadsheet, or list them on their author website.
FAQs
Q: Why don’t I see a URL for every retailer?
A: We are not able to provide direct links for some retailers. Some links may take extra time to appear.
Q: Does a missing link mean my audiobook isn’t published?
A: No. Missing links don’t affect availability—your title may still be live on that retailer.
