This article will walk you through the steps to complete your profile. If your My Account page has tabs named "Tax Forms & ID" and "Payout Info" you still have the Legacy My Account experience. Payment Account Profile
If this is your first time completing a payment profile, you may first be asked to complete a preliminary form. Please ensure that all fields are filled out accurately with your legal information that will be used for payments and tax forms.
Once you have setup your account as an individual or a business you will not be able to edit it yourself. If you need to change your account type, please contact support.
Your payout threshold can be changed at any time.
Step 1: Address
All fields must be completed using your legal name and address. This information will be used in the following payment and tax form tabs to complete your profile.
Your country of residence selection will impact what fields are required for your profile completion as well as what payment methods are available to you.
Edits to this tab after profile completion may require you to re-submit your payment method and tax form.
Step 2: Payment Method
Payments are all completed in USD. Your payment method options are dependent on your country of residence.
Step 3: Tax Forms
Please select the appropriate tax and complete with your accurate information. The Tax Form Questionnaire will help assist you in selecting the correct form for your status. Tax IDs will be run through a verification process during your approval process.
Step 4: Done
Once your profile is submitted it will be reviewed for approval by our customer service team. It may take 1-2 business days for you to receive a response on your account approval status. You must have completed all steps in order for your profile to be submitted for approval.
In the meantime you will be able to start creating audiobook projects in your account.
After your payment profile is submitted, you may click through the tabs and make edits. Certain edits may require you to resubmit your profile information for approval. Example: changing your address may require you to complete your payment method and tax form tabs again.
