Submissions are reviewed 1-2 months prior to the deal going live. For instance, if you submit in March and your title is selected for promotion, your audiobook can go live in either April or May. Once submitted, it can take up to 2 weeks to receive a response from Chirp about whether your title was accepted for promotion. We will notify you of the response as soon as we hear back!
Please note: Chirp's royalty rate for all titles that are accepted for Chirp Audiobook Deals is decreased by 10% for the duration of the promotion.
Submit a title for a Chirp Audiobook Deal:
- Ensure your title(s) is currently available for sale on Chirp.
- Write an email to Author's Republic support team at info@authorsrepublic.com. Your email should include:
- "Chirp Deal" in the subject line
- A list of the title(s) you would like to submit
- Any information about your audiobook that is not widely available on retailer pages. Chirp's team will review your book's listings on other sites, so you may want to include other details that help to support your submission. Examples include: alternate category suggestions, a more optimized book description, etc.
- Your preferred discount prices. Include one or more prices: $0.99, $1.99, $2.99, $3.99, $4.99, or $5.99+. If your book is selected for a promotion, Chirp's editorial team will let us know which discounted price they recommend.
How does Chirp evaluate my audiobook for Chirp Audiobook Deals?
Chirp has an editorial team that reviews all submissions to Chirp Audiobook Deals. Their team is uniquely tuned into recent trends and reader preferences. They will evaluate your book based on several factors, but they cite the following as key factors:
- Book content and platform: This includes the book's theme or storyline, reviews, ratings, awards, and endorsements.
- Audio quality: This includes the quality of your samples, the sentiment of reviews that specifically address the audio edition of your book, and the overall listening experience of your book.
- Narrator reputation: This includes your narrator's reputation, skill, and popularity.
